Internship Information
The second year of the program requires students to intern for a semester in a business setting to gain experience in the field. A total of 300 hours are required, which is generally completed in the first semester of the second year in 20-25 hour weekly increments. The internship must be relevant to the industrial/organizational psychology field and is subject to professor approval. Students are responsible for attaining their internship position and are encouraged to seek positions in their areas of interest. Students enroll in a faculty-led seminar (PSY 768) during their internship, which is used to provide support to the students and enrich the internship experience.
