Alumni Career Panel
The Alumni Career Panel is hosted by the SF State Psychology Department and is a great opportunity to learn about career options available to Psychology majors. Events are held during Fall and Spring semesters and all are welcome to join. Attendees will observe a live informational interview with SF State Alumni and have an opportunity to ask questions about their career journey.
All events are held via Zoom Webinars. No need to dress-up or worry about your Zoom background because only the host and alumni speakers will have video/audio enabled. The audience can enjoy the show and ask questions via the text chat feature.

Emma graduated from SF State in 2017 with a MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Emma is an organizational psychologist that seeks to improve organizations through talent acquisitions.

Shauna López, MA, LMFT
Shauna graduated from SF State in 2007. Shauna provides individual, group, and couples therapy as a private practice clinician. Shauna also provides clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians. -
Marie Nersesian, MA, LMFT
Marie graduated from SF State in 2015 with a BA in Psychology and Minor in Counseling. Marie works as part of a group private practice. Marie is a psychotherapist for children, teens, and families in Sonoma County. -
Manmeet Rattu, PsyD, MS
Dr. Rattu graduated from SF State in 2004. Dr. Rattu is a licensed clinician and certified yoga Instructor with a passion for guiding groups and individuals on their mental health journeys.

April graduate from SF State in 2017 and has a masters degree in counseling from Palo Alto University. April works for a non-profit organization in San Francisco as a crisis residential counselor. -
Gil Perez, MA, LPCC
Gil graduated from SF State with a BA in Psychology in 2014 and MA in Counseling in 2016. Gil is licensed in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Gil provides mental health services at the College of San Mateo and is a couples therapist at the San Francisco Marriage and Couples Center.

Amy graduate from SF State in 2010 and is a school psychologist at an elementary school in the Bay Area. Amy works to support teachers and parents with behavior modification, disability identification, and mental health concerns. -
Cinnamon Cook, MPA
Cinnamon graduate from SF State in 2001 and then earned a Masters in Public Administration from USC. Cinnamon works for Deloitte as an organizational consultant. Cinnamon helps an array of organizations improve leadership and worker performance. -
Akiko Terao, MS, LCSW
Akiko graduated from SF State with Masters degrees in both Psychology in 2006 and social work in 2017. Akiko is a psychotherapist in private practice located in the Bay Area. Prior to opening a private practice, Akiko worked as a researcher in mental health and education.
