Research Participation & SONA Systems
Students at SF State can be participants in psychological research. This means you will be a research subject. Each research study is different, but the tasks may include completing computerized task, answering survey questions, playing a game within a team setting, or keeping a diary of your daily actions. All studies are supervised by Psychology Faculty and undergo an ethics review to ensure your experience is safe and enjoyable.
SONA is the platform used to register as a research participant, sign-up for a specific study, and assign credits to a classes that require SONA participation.
